The passerby project started on June 4, 2014. June 4 is my birthday and I wanted to do something for others. I opened my studio doors with the intention to make portraits of strangers passing by my studio. These were all created on an 8x10 camera direct to silver gelatin paper. Usually it was 1 click and about 2 minutes per stranger. These were offered free to the participants.
This project is ongoing and evolving into a cultural study.
