Hello again world,

Last time around I shone the spot light on the amazing souls that attended my last workshop. I am truly humbled by the talent and honest effort they brought to the game! Bravo team.

We grew together and hopefully will continue to share in that upward direction. Push the bar higher we said.

I made a comment yesterday that keeps popping into my head. Someone said that I keep raising the bar. I said that no matter how far you push the bar, it is always right in your face. Never settle.

I am still figuring out if that statement has wings or if it is just a goofy thing to say. Time will tell I suppose but it is sticking with me.

Here are a few more images from the workshop, including the Finale image. Again keeping in mind, all of these images are made in a very short time frame (30 seconds from concept to execution) and in some of the most challenging conditions and scenarios. They are not meant to be seen as great images. They are meant to be seen as triumphs and failures of struggle. The last image was to meet a stranger, get to know them, put them at ease and make an interesting image.

This is what happens when 9 people create together with a like vision. This image was sparked when R Brooke Priddy Conrad, showed up unannounced to the attendees, with an amazing 30' gown and a 16mm projector with vintage films..... She told them that this dress was inspired by wind on sails and the sea. Together we designed this image each putting our touches and inspiration on it. The result was truly unique... wont you say?

A very special thank you to Morgan & Drew for being beautiful patient models. Brooke Priddy for the amazing custom made wardrobe, Zack at Make UP at Grove Arcade, and Zhenya for the amazing hair! Thank you to my assistant Katie for another well done job! Thank you to my custom book maker Renaissance albums for supplying lunches for the event! Alien Skin Software for the goodies! wink wink And a GIANT thank you to the impressive Albemarle Inn for hosting and housing us all. It was perfection!
